It has a USB port in the back to be useful "someday" (when the Cobalt
boxes were conceived, USB + Linux didn't really work, but we knew it
would someday. Now, on the Qube 3+, you can attach a printer). The
lack of external USB storage support is a kernel issue, and there's not
enough demand for Sun to backport 2.4 kernel support...
And I don't see anyplace in the RaQ 3 (or RaQ 4) manual where it says
that USB is "supported"... In fact, the only mention I can find is on
the rear view diagram, where it says "The USB port provides a Universal
Serial Bus connection." USB isn't in the index, nor the hardware
breakdown in the appendix...
