Why?  This certainly isn't what most of us are doing.

How do you register your nameserver with your ISP?  How do you register
them with other backbone providers?  I've been serving DNS
professionally for years, and this is the first time I've heard of
this.  Am I missing something?  I know how to register my nameservers
with my registrar, but I've never registered them anywhere else.
