Phil,

I was hoping there is something I can run from the command line (linux)
instead of removing the HD and installing it in a Windows box. Most of the
stuff I found to test HD, require you to use a bootup disk which contain one
version or another of DOS to run the diagnostic utility to test the HD.
Maybe I'm asking for too much. :-)
