Yes. Some sites respond to dig requests while other don't. All of my
/etc/named/pri.* files are owned by admin:admin. Shouldn't it be that if we
use the GUI to add/update dns records?

This is what I have and works for me....
/etc/
drwxr-xr-x   2 named    named        3072 Dec  9 08:53 named
-rw-r--r--   1 named    named         4887 Dec 14 19:06 named.conf

/etc/named/
-rw-r--r--   1 root     root         2769 Mar 26  2003 db.cache
-rw-r--r--   1 root     root        16221 Dec 14 19:06 records
and all pri.* files are named/named

Are the sites on the same server as your DNS?
