Having worked with RAQs for a few years, I am used to the Active Monitor blinking even when things are okay. In fact, I don't think I have a single RAQ in which the Active Monitor light is not constantly blinking. But in almost all cases in the past the origination of the problem had been something to do with disk usage.
For about a month now my RAQ550 Active Monitor light has been blinking and when checking services it says the web server is down. The server is not down and has been running fine. The Active Monitor itself otherwise seems to be fine and occasionally shows heavy memory usage or disk quota limits when it should.
I suspect the next time I reboot that it will correct itself, at least temporarily. But my concern is that the web server part of the monitor is not working and that if the Apache actually did go down that it would not be brought back up automatically.
I've found in this list a few other Active Monitor issues on the RAQ550, but not this one specifically and I've not seen a solution. Does anyone have any suggestions?
