That was simply the smallest and largest numbers I tried (not meaning they
were the min-max that the field can hold)

Yes that is the same area

Nah, already tried stopping services etc.

For reference the following thread has been started that may be worth
investigating:
http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-users/2003-December/098603.html

"I was insgtalling the RaQ550 pkgs on a RaQ3 from the CLI
While installing RaQ550-All-Kernel-0.0.1-2.4.19C10_III-1.pkg
The following error comes up:::

/home/packages/36_RaQ550-All-Kernel-0.0.1-2.4.19C10_III-1.pkg
package bwmgmt is not installed

People have noted that RaQ550 bandwidth management does not
work on RaQ3/4s, I was installing from the CL, actually a script and the
following error comes up. Is it possible that "package bwmgmt" is compiled
for a Pentium???"
--------------------------------
I shall look into this further as it may be related (thanks to Gerald at
frontstreetnetworks for posting it)
