[cobalt-users] email server on a separate RaQ

We are currently separating the email and web services on our 6 RaQ4R boxes.

3 RaQ4s will be dedicated to email service and backup dns service only. The
other 3 RaQs will act as web and primary dns servers only.

Prior to this, all of the 6 RaQs ran email, dns and web services for domains
hosted on the relevant boxes.

I have pointed the dns records for the mx service to one of the new email
RaQ servers, but I get the following error when I try to send email to this
new box:-

john@xxxxxxxxxxx

----- Transcript of session follows -----

554 5.0.0 MX list for domain1.com. points back to
nameserver1.originaldns.com

... Local configuration error

Is it possible to have the mail service for a virtual domain running on one
RaQ4, with the web and dns service bring run on another RaQ?

If so, what is the best way to setup site settings and dns records to
achieve this?
