[cobalt-users] POP before SMTP questions

i'm having intermittent problems with some of my remote users on one of my
RaQ4s. i had POP before SMTP enabled but they suddenly started getting the
infamous 'Relaying Denied' errors. i tried checking and unchecking the box
via the GUI several times, but every time i clicked back into the email
settings page, the box was unchecked. i tried a reboot but it's still
behaving the same way.
is this normal? the box is checked on my other identically-patched RaQ4...
if not, can i check via the command line to see if POP before SMTP is
enabled?
any ideas about what might be wrong?
