vipw will use whatever editor you have set as the default via the EDITOR
environment variable... but be aware - it is especially dangerous to open
/etc/passwd with pico if you have any sites/groups with more than a couple of
members -- pico by default auto-wraps the lines... this makes /etc/passwd
unusable...
If you *must* use pico (either directly or via vipw), make sure to use the
'-w' switch to disable word wrapping...
