Do you also have www.designwall.co.uk or mail.designwall.co.uk in the local-host-names files? I suggest adding the www hostname at least because of the way Cobalt does address rewrites.
When checking the sites, both respond correctly (in fact, there's a third as well but that doesn't use email). Wall-2-wall.com gets email correctly. Designwall.co.uk is just one huge failure.
You don't need an additional IP address. What is the actual hostname of that machine btw? :) I would consider upgrading sendmail too.
