I have asked this question before and it hasn't been answered by anybody, I
can't believe that nobody else has come up with the same problem. Here it
is:
I have MySQL from Package Master installed, version 3.23.37-1, and I am
afraid that if I install the Qube3 patch it will break my current MySQL
setup (this would really be a bad thing as we have a lot of databases and
tables). The MySQL patch is Qube3-All-Security-4.0.1-16356, does anybody
know if it will cause any harm to the MySQL setup from Package Master?
Thanks in advance!
Santiago.

P.S. I really would like to know what I should do, should I uninstall the
Pkgmaster version and then install what is it the update, the update package
is about 12.3MB so I think it might be a full newer version of MySQL but I
am not sure, I just don't want to lose any information. I suppose I could
backup the databases, how should I do that in the most efficient way?
Should I use phpmyadmin to do it?
