Heres a question that I have not been able to quantify.
Been asked about taking on a Forum that knocks out the following on a daily
basis:
Hits per Day: 185,215
CPU Cycles per Day: 15,000 - 20,000
It knocks out on average about 40GB per month of data transfer, so is quite well
visited I hazzard to guess for a single forum.
My question being, is a Raq3 or 4 capable of such a load and how would you
equate cycles to cpu load etc...
Anyone got any suggestions....
Also, anyone know how to arrange for the current load of CPU & memory to be
emailed to a specified email address at regular intervals of the day, say every
three hours. Obvious a cron job but what commands etc for the actual collection
of the info and then emailing it out.
Thanks again...
