This message got emailed to me after installing an update and now the server
is not responding:
--------------
The main web server appears to be down. Make sure that the server's network
interface has been correctly configured in the network control panel. If it
all looks correct, try rebooting the server; if this still does not correct
the problem, contact Sun Cobalt Technical Support.
---------------
I just installed this patch from cobalt and let the server reboot.
PHP & PostgreSQL Security Update 2.0.1
HTTP RaQ4-All-Security-2.0.1-15959.pkg
Posted:March 20, 2003
This package addresses several issues with PHP and postgresql. Two PHP bugs
have been fixed; the first is arbitrary command execution via the 5th
parameter of mail() and the second is URL redirection using fopen(). In
Postgresql, multiple buffer overruns have been recently identified and
patched. In addition, Postgresql debugging is now disabled by default.
Reboot Required: Yes
------------
I can't access the machine via SSH, http or https on port 81.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Jane
