RE: [cobalt-users] OS Commerce PKG

Brian,

How do intend to deal with the many changes and updates that are occuring
with daily snapshot releases of OSC?
Will you offer updates for no charge or on a subscription basis?
Your page indicates that your pkg is using the 12/2002 snapshot yet the OSC
2.2 MS1 that was released on 2/17/2003
incorporates some major changes in code and functionality on both the
catalog and the admin sides.
There are also a good 2 dozen quality contribs that IMHO should have been
incorporated into the official code tree by now.
Meaning that without the contribs the store doesn't work as well as it
should for a large section of typical e-commerce
hosting customers. Incorporating useful contribs into OSC is not for the
newbie or the fainthearted.
Something along the lines of what Ian at Chainreaction does with a bundled
distro would be useful.
