Re: [cobalt-users] OS Commerce PKG

Greetings all.

Okay, so ya'll bitch about my site ... fixed. I care what people think
about me. So, until I fix the click thru for the splash screen, it is gone.
My "misleading", or confusing table has been fixed with some line tags.
Now, it is easy for you to see what goes where.

Any way, is my package worth $99 bucks? Depends on what your time is worth.

Yes, osCommerce is easy to setup as Rick Ewart has pointed out. But
considering the average RaQ user not a *nix Guru, and it may take them up to
a few hours to setup, if they never did. It is worth it. Once this package
is installed, and if you host like 30 people, who all want it. You have it
setup, and working in like 2 minutes, for all 3 people. Now, if you install
it by hand, and get good. Think maybe like 20 minutes each install.
Multiply that times 30 people. That is 10hrs of your life that you just
wasted on other things. Now, is $99 worth 10 hours? You bet your ass is
it.

That is my pitch. If you want something easy to manage, along with the
Cobalt, and do NOT want to worry about playing in Shell, or FTP or even
phpMyAdmin. It is great for the newbie person, straight up to the hardcore
*nix person. Save time, save money (working on another project), and save
face.

Any way, I am not here to sell it, just offering the true power of what my
package does and doesn't do. If anyone is interested it is there.

Take care, and have fun!
