This is geting WILDLY off-topic for the group... so this is my LAST email on the matter...

I don't care if you have good ole boys in Pueblo who will sort out your phone lines - here in Fort Collins they suck. I had 38 year old copper running into this building when we moved in - the line could only take 2 phone lines - they (Qwest) put in a new cable for the new lines and left the two lines on the old copper - 7 months later, an "earthing problem" occurs on one of the old lines - so the phone dude from Qwest meanders up some 72 hours after the problem was reported, and moves the problem line over to the new cable - and begins to tell me he's going to leave 1 remaining line on the old copper - sure, so you can come back in 3-6 months when that piece of cr@p degrades - move the one remaining line NOW please!

I've had slammed phone lines, lost yellow page ads and listings, connectivity outages, phone lines breaking and more in 7 months from Qwest here - your experiences may differ - but I'm not putting any more into the Qwest coffers than I have to.

T1/T2/T3=Qwest in Colorado and several other states. Our EXPERIENCES dictate *OUR* spending patterns, not some-one else's.

yes - so? I never sign up with Interland - we have hosted with Dialtone for longer than they have been Dialtone/Interland - I always told people here (in our office), that the buyout by Interland would eventually end in a split (us from them) - it's here... your point????

Before the takeover by Interland, they were ok - in fact, they were pretty darned good - now... they're Interland... like I said - coming to an end. Listen dear cowboy!

Sure - as long as I get mineral rights and the price is right.
