I had that problem....
I had a very popular file on my server and
all the downloading would stall the server then
start up..... Heck http://files.lavasoft.us associated
main file is so popular it would be a 19,000 d/ls a day
and overload a T3...WOW!

Another problem with the same stall
Try clearing the logs in the GUI

Another is a bad fan.... My ISP had that problem with
one of his Cobalt servers.
Actually a Raq 3 had a bad fan....
Mine is a Raq 4 and a Qube 3
no fan problem so far....
even my Qube 2's fan is ok.
I guess it is a hit and miss........
