I'm using XP and it works for me. Are you sure they're putting ftp://
and using a colon not semi-colon between the user name and password.
Must be the siteadmin username and password.
Under IE Tools and Advanced I have "Enable folder view for FTP sites"
checked. I don't know if that's the default config.
