Newbie POP3 mail authentication query...
I have an annoying problem on my Raq4i, fully patched up to and
including
RaQ4-Solarspeed.net-Sendmail Release 8.10.2-C1sol1
It also has
RaQ34-Solarspeed.net-Qpopper Release 4.0.4
The Raq hosts +- 10 domains, and I have email accounts on about 5 of
them. My mail client is Outlook 2002.
Every now and then Outlook will pop up a dialog box inviting me to enter
my password for one or other of the mail accounts. I just click OK (or
whatever) to use the password that is pre-populated into the dialog box
and everything continues OK.
How can I start to trace this problem down in the Raq? What logs do I
need to look at, what can I do to enable some diagnostic logging etc etc
etc?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It seems that it only does (and NOT all the time) this when there is
email to be delivered through the account in question...
I have restarted the Raq4 and still get the same problem. I have
removed my email virus scanners on the PC.... I have rebooted the PC...
And still the same thing happens... Don't think it is client side
(unless off course it is Microsoft Outlook itself).
