Hi
I will be purchasing a new 550 (currently lease a Raq4) shortly and understand the OS will not be fully patched.
I don't want the server on a live network before I have had chance to patch the server.
My question is : How (or) is it possible to do this with a laptop and network card/serial cable.(how would I connect this?)
Also what would I use for IP address etc on the Raq ?
If so what is the best way to proceed, I see the admin screens have to go through a config section before reaching the admin screens when first booted. Would this cause problems when I change the IP address for the live one?
Cheers Peter
