Actually, this is something I'm about to attempt once I finish getting moved
into my new colo facilties. I expanded space so that I could have another big
box on a secondary private network, that basically just hosts NFS space out
to my Raqs. My backup plan if I can't get that working is to do something
like the NFS mounted backups, but the solution you're talking about is my
primary goal.
My main concern hasn't been around multiple Raq's trying to add "site12" to
the same filesystem structure, I've been more interested to see how things
like quota's would work, and things like user permissions.
I'll let you know how this goes, but it's probably another 2 weeks out before
I can begin any serious testing.
