I'm working on a RaQ4i right now that has a 2nd drive mounted at /vol/home2.
When creating a site the server admin is able to specify the drive to use
and quotas are respected. I've setup NFS mounts for access via RaQs before,
but never as a filesystem from which site data would be stored so I don't
know if this is feasible. I'd expect that separate partitions would need to
be created on the central drive (otherwise there probably would be siteNN
collisions) and something would need to be done to enforce quotas. I expect
that some Cobalt scripts would need to be modified and there may be a need
to run scripts to keep the ownership and quotas in check. A very
interesting situation. I wish I had time to test on my end, but I don't
have a need here so I'll have to be content with seeing how you two
progress.
