I've built Webalizer and Squid on my RaQ XTR. Since they aren't
included by default I don't have an example configuration file
expressly for a RaQ. In particular, I'd like some help with Webalizer,
if anyone knows how to set it up to do the followin:
1. Configure it so that each virtual host and the squid cache get
their own web page.
2. Create a log rotation scheme that incorporates Webalizer so that
the stats are always up to date. Can I just run it against my logs
every night and keep a history file?
3. Get DNS lookups working with Webalizer. It needs to be compiled
in. but I'm running DNS. I'm assuming I just had a typo in the make
or config.
Finally, I need to either set LD_LIBRARY_PATH or else set up access
with ldconfig to get some compiled libraries to work. I tried to avoid
touching the system directly. My inclinatation is to leave everything
I build in /opt and simply set paths at the start of whatever scripts
I create. Are there any problems with this.
