Regular Red Hat on a RaQ 4 is difficult at best. It can be done (I
don't know how, but there are links in the archives, etc), but you
lose LCD functionality, etc. And you have to take the HD out and load
the OS on another machine, etc. Also, you'd have to upgrade the ROM
to handle the 2.4 kernel for Red Hat 8.
In short, it's possible, but for all the work involved, probably not
worth it. Just buy a general purpose 'white box' from someone else
that was meant for 'regular' operating systems and save yourself a
LOT of pain... :)
