Yeah, I see. Hell, why the heck do most distributions have packaging? To
hell with it, lets compile everything blindly, making a complete mess of our
systems.
I think somebody needs to do a little research before pointlessly flaming
this group.

It doesn't remove you from the responsibility, but people shouldnt NEED to
compile from source - half the point of the Cobalt's is the whole .pkg
system and the fact the system maintains itself (to some degree).
Learn to put your brain where your mouth is.
