I checked the log prior to the reboot that killed the raq3.

Apparently part of the problem is that the connect can time-out using 
the GUI because the update is so large.

The best way for this update is to wget the file as per Andy, at 
http://www.raqpak.com/, post.

My server couldn't be fixed, possibly some files became corrupted. Even 
though the fantastic support at www.netnation.ca managed to install the 
update over serial, the server still doesn't boot.

I was very luck, netnation support gave me a clean raq3, fully updated, 
and transfered all my files and settings.
