make sure you do not ERASE your rom. it costs 700 dollars to restore if you don't have your own rom writing/programming equipment.
don't ask how I know.

The problem is there are few people doing this upgrade....
I blew my RaQ4r trying to use a 550 restore cd....
IIRC the way to do it is to upgrade the ROM 1st, then use the 550 OSRCD.
But, like I said my only experience was painful!!!
However, I do have the equipment on order to fix my ROM, so if anyone else
has bad ROMs or MotherBoards, contact me off list, I may be able to help!
