Very few, from what I see since his post was in reply to a request. Not
a blatant ad as I have seen recently for others offering stuff.

I'm sure that wasn't the entire content of his post, or the thread. One
sentence in a thread or post out of context is meaningless.

Now you're psychic?

If they contribute as much to the list in answers, I'd have no problem
with the occasional pitch *in reply* to a request on the list. Unlike
the pure spam "*FREE* SECURITY PKG" post. I'm sure the person making the
post Jeff replied to wasn't the only RaQ3 user that might at some point
be looking for a PHP/MySQL package that's only available for $$.

99.9% of the world doesn't make such claims on-list since they're not on
this list. Your statement makes no sense.

I think Jeff's reply followed "the" standard of netiquette as the only
resource for what the poster was seeking is a paid program/service.

The list admin has posted on this subject and Jeff's replies clearly
fall within his standards. The META FAQ was never updated to reflect
those clarifications.

Yes you are. You are only singling him out.

I've never seen him critcize you on the list.
