* Some feel Jeff was a bit too commercial in his post
* In mid-October, he made a similar such post:
"Most of my clients are small hosting companies, and
frankly you fit right in."
I'm sure others contacted the OP off-list if they had any
pitches to deliver. Making such statements on-list encourages
everyone to jump in and state their offerings to the same
audience Jeff has/had.

claims on-list. I don't know how many are on this list...

There is none.
However, continuing to solicit customers with the knowledge of a
flaw is questionable. Doing it on-list despite the AUP is
downright yucky.
I also clarified that I wish Jeff no ill will, and am not
singling him out more than others. I've enjoyed talking to him
on the phone. I've scolded him for posts before, and he's
scolded me. Life goes on.
