John, in my zone file for befriend.com (on the RaQ, pri.befriend.com in
/etc/named/) I have lines like this:
befriend.com. IN NS befriend1.dnsservers.us.
befriend.com. IN NS befriend2.dnsservers.us.
befriend.com. IN NS befriend3.dnsservers.us.
I'll explain more in my next email. These can be added through the GUI.
IIRC, you select the domain, then click the icon for the SOA section and add
the naem servers one per line and save. Or if you want you can edit the soa
line in /etc/named/record and then run
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/dns/index.cgi as root or you can edit the zone
file directly (but in that case keep in mind the next time you edit DNS
through the GUI the changes will be overwritten).
