Thanks to all who answered...rarely do we have clients who fail to pay
on time, but I needed to make a point to this particular client (and
the point was well taken)....all your suggestions are good and now I
know *why* forwarding still worked on a suspended site. I took the
simplest solution - removed the forwarding email address - and noticed
that emails did indeed bounce afterward. As for being sued, I'm sure
there's probably a lawyer that would take the case - but, we provide a
service for which the client had not paid, and like anything else
(phone, electric, etc), I don't think the client would have had a leg
to stand on - but court time sure would mess up my schedule.
