I have an interesting problem. My ISP suffered from a few brown-outs this
weekend (PG&E in CA). Apparently my servers didn't like this type of
treatment...
One of my Raq3's hasn't come back on line. This first problem was an error
when starting httpd that said:
"[: =: unary operator expected" -- I resolved that by freeing up some space
on my boot partition.
Now when I try to start httpd, I get this: "httpd_start_1
httpd_start_2:" -- which I find to be a pretty uninformative error message...
The only other lead that I have is the error message when I try to start
admserv:
"Invalid certificates for main site -- Not starting SSL
/usr/sbin/httpd.admsrv"
Interestingly enough -- I've commented out all ref's to SSL in the
httpd.conf files in both of these directories /etc/httpd/conf &
/etc/admserv/conf...
Are there other files that refer to SSL that I should be aware of? I don't
use SSL -- is it necessary for the admserv to run? If it worked before the
crash, should I be changing the server config in this manner -- or should I
be barking up another tree? Last question, how would I do a restore from a
SSH session?
Thanks in advance,
Ray Archie
