I have determined that (just like everyone says) the built in Cobalt
Backup/Restore is crap.....
Thank god I have raqbackup.sh installed on all our servers.......too
bad I didn't have a good process in place to ensure the backups were
validated everyday for being correct......oh well...hindsight is
20/20...
So, basically, I have modified the steps to instead TAR up the
/HOME/SITES directory (thanks to cbtrussell), unzip the TAR file on my
PC, then FTP the files up into each individual account.....gets the
files needed in place, retains permissions and settings....
Haven't actually done that yet for any sites.....but I am just in the
middle of transferring the /home/sites TAR file to my PC from the
server.....
