Looking for a free anti-spam solution? We've installed two DNSBLs...
spamcop and ORDBS.

While spamcop says it shouldn't be used in production system, lots of
ISPs use it; we've never had a false positive come to our attention.

Looking for a full-service solution? We really like the SolarSpeed
product; in fact we sell it to our clients, and many of them like it to.

SolarSpeed's solution allows the spam onto your system, then tests it.
So if anything it uses more server resources than just leaving spam
alone. The DNSBLs block it; the spam never gets to your server, so your
system uses less resources.

Of course the DNSBLs control spam based on where it's coming from, not
from examining it.

Nevertheless it makes for a lot lower load on our servers, and we and
some of our clients appera to be happy with it.

You could of course use both; some people do.
