What do you mean? So what changes remain in place?
If what you mean is that when you run the Cobalt gui your hand-made
changes disappear, well, yes, that's true. You can try putting in an
include file into the named.conf; I have no idea if that's doable or
not.
Or you can do what some of us with specialized dns needs do... we
maintain named.conf by hand.
