OK, I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I was unable to
find an answer for my question the archive so I hope someone can help me
get Reverse DNS working for the domains I host on my Raq3.
I have zone file, pri.192-26.90.100.200.in-addr.arpa (numbers changed to
protect the innocent) for all the ptr records that the GUI built.
My ISP says they have delegated the reverse for my block (/26) to me but
it is not working. I remember a discussion of a bug in the raq3 where
it put a wrong character in the file or something. Is that still an
issue and if so how can I fix that.
I also read something about the cname that an ISP uses for the
delegation, what should I tell my ISP to make it?
Other than trusting my ISP is there a way to see if the delegation is
done properly?
Any other things I should check?
Thanks,
Michael Aronoff
