Hi Yah,
Grant Stern Replied:
"think you may have a physical failure of either your ethernet card or your
new ram. i had similar issues with some new ram that were resolved by my
ram supplier (who IMHO, RULZ!) by replacing the bad ram with some nice new
ram."
I had the Ram kicked up initially from 128 to 256 and I'd be telling lies
to say if it all started then but it did happen with the 256 them I had it
upgraded about 3 weeks ago to 512 and now it's happening again.
With regards to the ethernet card this is built in and I believe it's a
major to change or replace :( The servers remote so there is now way I can
test it myself - mind you wouldn't know where to start. I've emailed the
colo again with a copy of the original post I made yesterday so we'll see
what they say.
Grant also replied with:
"have you tried booting the raq with a module that you know for sure works??"
No and I'm remote so how would I do that? Could get the colo to do it I
suppose.
Brandon Replied:
"You wouldn't happen to have that RaQ behind a Cisco 1900 series switch,
would you?"
Don't actually know but can find out from colo - is there a problem with
this series of switches or is it a know issue or do my symptoms sound like
something you've come across?
Regards
Chae
