Its not an easy process to install.  I think that the RAQ XTR has some
custom php extensions that you can't recompile and will not work with any
other version of PHP.

You CAN run 2 version of PHP on the same box.  But then you will absolutely
void the warranty. I've done this successfully on my Raq550 and have ahd no
problems (no support from Cobalt either) Search the archives for messages
about this.
