One small note, Dave...
The RaQs (through the 4) are based on RHL6.2, and I've never found a
package in them that wasn't installed the 6.2 way (though they did
upgrade sendmail to use /etc/email at some point on some of their
platforms). And I've never found an official RHL6.2-aware RPM that
wouldn't work.
But that's just me <smile>.
