One suggestion (I have no financial interest - just clients in the area who
are happy) - go with Tampa Bay DSL for the DSL service. www.tampabaydsl.com.
They are awesome. The other major choice out there is Verizon, and most have
real horror stories about them. TampaBayDSL.com. I recently ordered their
service for a client who is in Ybor City. Took 4 days to get installed, and
they sent an email apologizing for the delay after 2 days. Really - 2 days
after placing the order! They have a good setup and little to no downtime,
in my experience. They are also "small" (compared to Verizon) so they will
tend to be more flexible....

I tried moving a name server IP once. It was registered with BuyDomains.com,
and I had a HECK of a time dealing with NetSol. The rest of the world
reflected the change, but after 72 hours they still didn't. Long story
short, the regular idiots at support had me paying them to make the change.
Finally I got a non-idiot who told me the key was to ask them to place a
request to "mirror the Internic registry". Otherwise they will be
clueless... Hopefully that will save you the 48+ hours it took be to resolve
the problem...
Good luck, and enjoy Tampa. I am in Ft. Lauderdale but spend a good deal of
time over there as I have a number of clients. Tampa is a good city.
