But, But, But, that's like hiding the little slot where you insert the
detergent in a washer....

You're supposed to put DETERGENT in?

[start soapbox]
I've always thought it amusing when people who are administering a machine spend so much time complaining about "SUN did this to make it harder" or "SUN won't help and I don't understand this thing". I've been screwing around with Unix since the early 80's when Xenix was big, AT&T owned "Unix", and Linux wasn't even the a germ of a kernel in Linus's brain. I had no "Lists", or manufacturers web sites to turn to for help. I had the MAN pages , books, curiosity and experience. I also had Usenet, but in those days it was far different from what it is today. My point is, when there was a problem I didn't look for someone to help unless I had made the effort to resolve it myself first. Anyone who doesn't have at least a basic knowledge of *nix shouldn't even begin to contemplate running a server, not even with a pretty GUI to lead them by the hand. SUN may put things in "strange places", but that's their prerogative. It's their product and they can customize it any way they see fit. Besides, although it's Linux, it's an APPLIANCE, not a home hobby server. It's designed for a specific purpose. things like that tend to be different in some way.

Suck it up and learn instead of kvetching endlessly.

There is a theory that states: "If anyone finds out what the universe
is for it will disappear and be replaced by something more bizarrely
inexplicable."

There is another theory that states: "This has already happened...."
