It would be a much better idea if you were to forward the email to an account
where you can collect your mail without the risk of compromising your root/admin
passwords.
Alternatively, if you are using SecureCRT at least, there is a way to set it up
so that you can tunnel securely to collect mail, but I'd say the former idea
would be the easiest/safest.
