Do you have more than 32 sites?
If so, you can't have more than 32. Not Cobalt, but Linux.
if root can log in, it would not be logging into a specific site
normally the site admin will log into his own site. You then have to back
up to the main site.
Make the default remote directory as /web and see if that gets you there.
