RE: [cobalt-users] USer FTP RaQ4r

Hi David

There are not more than 32 but the problem for me still persists. I can
access any user account using the name and the password for ftp but I
cannot go up the directory structure to the folders, cert, logs, users,
web and into the main web folder. The situation is no one can ftp their
files into their hosted web sites but can into their user names
websites. There names are set as siteadmin However when I use webtrends
for logging statistics I can go up the tree as expected to the logs
folder but cant do this using any ftp client.

I must be missing out a step somewhere. Hosted sites and a raq box must
be able to ftp to their sites.

Thanks for your swift response.

Richard

Do you have more than 32 sites?
If so, you can't have more than 32. Not Cobalt, but Linux.
if root can log in, it would not be logging into a specific site
normally the site admin will log into his own site. You then have to
back
up to the main site.
Make the default remote directory as /web and see if that gets you
there.
