I suppose those writing Netatalk stopped supporting "/" about the same
time the introduced filename-translation (which is what we turn on in
our package) as "/" isn't valid in iso-8859-1 and in Windows-850...

No, we're not in anyway connected to Cobalt except for the fact that I
got the 77th manufactured Qube1 shipped to me (first to Europe) back in
March 98... We were also the first Cobalt distributor in Europe.

Well, I noticed my G4 behaves quite well against an older Netatalk
running on a Mandrake 8.0 serever now, it diidn't 4 months ago. Well, I
get an error while saving an inDesign file to the server but it works...

With our Qube3 package the error message should be gone. BTW, I'm going
to update the Mandrake server tomorrow! :)
