I don't use UFS on my MacOS X machine, but MacOS X still allows me to use
"/" in filenames on its HFS+ formatted disk.

Did Netatalk stop supporting "/" or is it a configuration issue?

Ok.  Any idea if Sun Cobalt have this issue listed as a known bug and hence
plan to fix it?

Ah ... I'm a late adopter of MacOS X ... installed from CD and then updated
10.1.5.  Unfortunately not late enough to qualify for a FREE upgrade to
10.2.
