[cobalt-users] Activating Interbase

 I have searched through the archives but can only find one post about 
this and now answer.

I am trying to activate interbase so I followed the instructions in the RAQ 
knowledge base and un-commented the line in inetd.conf and restared inet . 
but when I try and add a user using

opt/interbase/bin/gsec -user sysdba -password masterkey -add 'user' -pw 
'password'

I get the following error message

 Warning - maximum 8 significant bytes of password used
I/O error for file "isc4.gdb"
Error while trying to open file
No such file or directory
unable to open database
