Hi folks,
I have updated our openssl for dynamically linked apps such as stunnel on
our box. I have been doing my homework and would dearly like some
verification from one of the guru's out there that the following is correct.
OpenSSH and Apache = Statically linked, therefore these need recompiling
from new versions which include the OpenSSL libaries.
Stunnel etc = Dynamically linked, these use the version of OpenSSL currently
on the box.
What I want to verify is:
Now i have updated OpenSSH to 'openssl-0.9.6e' this secures my stunnel as
the dynamic links are to a safe version of OpenSSH.
Thanks all!
MJM
