Hello all,
I may have missed the final answer on the 'bind vulnerable?' issue. Is our
8.2.3-REL (latest cobalt bind .pkg) bind vulnerable? I remember seeing, yes,
no, maybe, no-ish? I followed the directions @ raqware.com- first time
through didn't take, second time through skipped 'make stdlinks' and all went
fine on a non-production box (Raq3i)- . Kinda makes sense to update the
production server but it's a Raq3 with Raq4 software- not sure if this changes
anything? AND I don't want to *shoot myself in the foot* incase Cobalt
releases newer bind .pkgs in the future- will they install over this?
Sorry to sound so clueless,
Dave~
