What do you mean it didn't take the first time?
Even if you run "make stdlinks" when not required, all you get is that it
can't make the directories because they exist. IGNORE IT, and contiue.
Bind is probably one of the things that runs on a cobalt like any redhat
system.
All the production servers I maintain are running 8.3.3
and no problems, 8.3.4 is out now and I will be putting it on a test server
soon.
